HOLY WATER CANNOT HELP YOU NOW

Sempre que começo a criar um post tenho imensas ideias e coisas que quero falar, mas assim que me sento para escrever fico sem nada para dizer, o que é estranho porque no dia-a-dia eu reclamo de tudo, é um debate constante sobre todos os problemas que vejo no mundo Ahaha Então pensei em deixar aqui um vídeo, de uma performer que eu gosto (por me identificar com os temas que ela normalmente aborda durante as suas performances) mas este vídeo são dicas para os que facilmente se distraem (que também da sempre jeito ahaha) …Miranda July J

Num outro tema, pintei de novo o cabelo, desta vez de ruivo ahaha Quando fui ao cabeleireiro para pintar de castanho pensei que talvez fosse melhor escurece-lo aos poucos, aproveitando para experimentar a cor que eu mais gosto. E como este vestido me faz lembrar a florence welch, os pedaços de tecido grosso em contraste com o tecido transparente, achei que seria uma boa combinação com o meu novo cabelo laranjinha.

On another topic, I painted my hair again, this time in red ahaha When I went to the hairdresser to paint Brown I thought it might be better to darken it gradually, taking the opportunity to experience the color I like best. And  because this dress reminds me of florence welch, pieces of thick fabric in contrast to the transparent fabric, I thought it would be a good combination with my new orange(ish) hair.

WILL THIS RAIN EVER STOP? A.K.A THE PERFECT EXCUSE TO BE ONLINE MORE OFTEN

Inspiração para o fim de semana, já que ninguém me faz de maneira nenhuma tirar o casaco de inverno para tirar fotos. Porquê tempo? PORQUEEEEÊ?

Infelizmente já não tenho as fontes para estas imagens :( é só inspiração que fui guardando ao longo da semana no computador. Porém sei que as 2 primeiras fotos pertencem à revista material girl.

Este fim de semana arrastei a Carla comigo até ao Trend Market, e ao contrario do que é costume foi a Carla que andou ás compras e eu vim de mãos a abanar. Quem sabe, na próxima vez que eu usar uma saia amarela que comprei também no Trend Market á uns meses não coincida com o dia que ela leve também a saia amarela comprida que comprou ontem, como as vezes nos acontece sair de casa a combinar sem intenção. Encontrei coisas mesmo bonitas à venda pelas galerias mas não tive coragem para comprar nada. Fizemos algumas rondas às lojas vintage ali à volta e ao fim da tarde compramos uma pizza ali pena zona, fomos para casa comê-la e brincar com uma mesa gráfica que comprei esta semana. 

Tenho de admitir que é mais complicada de usar do que estava à espera, como sempre pensava que era só chegar ali e fazer "arte" mas parece-me que vai dar algum trabalho até me habituar. Estou sempre a meter-me em shananigans porque quero aprender a fazer tudo e depois as coisas dão sempre mais trabalho do que eu sonhava. 

Gostava de ter passado o meu domingo então a experimentar o "brinquedo", mas como sempre andei a semana toda a adiar trabalho e hoje foi só mesmo isso que fiz :( FUUUN....not.

This weekend I dragged Carla, to a Trend Market downtown.  I didn’t end up buying anything, but she came away with an awesome long yellow skirt. I swear, she always’s finds the coolest things before I even get to it (jealous…).

After that we hit some vintage stores in the area. At dinner time we bought some pizza to eat a home, and just watched tv and played with my new Wacom bamboo graphics tablet for the rest of the evening. I wasn’t expecting it to be so hard to get used to, but I’m slowly learning.

  

                                    

   

HIDE AND SEEK

Tem dias que nos sentimos mais inspirados que outros e hoje é um dia (apesar do sol ter espreitado) em que não me sentia tanto inspirada…e na esperança de renovar a minha inspiração e humor, fui a um dos locais que quase sempre me ajudam, o youtube hahah

Um dos meus maiores vícios é ver vídeos…quando reparo normalmente já passaram imensas horas e tudo que eu queria era ver um vídeo rápido para ficar mais contente e voltar a trabalhar! Então hoje quando cheguei a casa (em vez de começar a escrever o relatório que está a minha espera) comecei a ver alguns vídeos de um dos meus canais preferidos, maspoxavida, e quando dei conta já estava a ver outro canal e outro…e tinham passado 2horas nisto ahaha Mas sinto que não foi tempo perdido, vah talvez um bocadinho, mas não vamos pensar nisso ahaha!

Em vez disso quero partilhar com vocês um dos canais que mais gosto de ver, desta vez de uma menina - Meekakitty, que me deixa com um sentimento agridoce, porque apesar de me deixar inspirada, deixa-me também um pouco triste porque não fui eu que fiz os vídeos ahaha aqui fica um dos meus preferidos dela…It’s Chill!

Hm e vocês, tem algum vício, canal de youtube (sugestões que alimente o meu vicio) ou vídeo? Algo que gostem muito de ver/fazer, para melhorarem o humor? J

One of my biggest addiction is watching videos ... when I take notice I usually already spent many hours and all I wanted was to see a quick video to be happier and go back to work! So today when I got home (instead of starting to write the report that is waiting for me) I started to see some videos of one of my favorite channels, maspoxavida  and when I realized I was watching another channel and another ... and had past 2hours ahaha but I feel that it was not a wasted time, well maybe a little, but let's not think about that ahaha!

Instead I want to share with you one of the channels that I like to see, this time of a girl - Meekakitty, that leaves me with a bittersweet feeling, because although it leaves me inspired, it also let's me a little bit sad because it was not me who did those videos ahaha here it is one of my favorites of her ... It’s Chill!

VALENTINO COUTURE 2013, THE STUFF THAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF

  

  

Tenho a certeza que já viram algumas fotos desta coleção  visto que está por toda a internet. Mas não consigo parar de pensar nela e achei que talvez se fizesse um post sobre ela eu conseguisse parar de obcecar um bocadinho. 

Acho que nunca vi nada tão bonito. Parece que juntaram todos os contos de fadas numa maquina de costura, criaram os padrões e juntaram as cores da forma mais mágica que resultou em arte pura. Cada peça merecia a sua própria história épica.

I'm sure you've seen some photos of this collection that’s all over the internet by now. But I can not stop thinking about it and I thought maybe if I did a post about it I could stop obsessing a little.

I've never seen anything so beautiful. It seems they joined all fairy tales in a sewing machine, created the patterns and colors together in the most magical way resulting in pure art. Each piece deserves its own epic story.
