I AM NOT ANGRY ANYMORE

Quando estava a fazer este post estava a ouvir Paramore, daí o título, e a musica, I am not angry anymore passou e eu achei que combinava com as fotos.

Achei engraçado como não só a melodia parecia combinar como também a letra…”I am not angry anymore, well, sometimes I am”. Não que eu estivesse irritada com alguém, mas talvez com a sociedade em geral, e como a musica diz, não estou mais irritada, mas bem, as vezes ainda estou haha

Tiramos estas fotos para colocar no nosso Portefólio, e acabamos por tirar muitas e todas elas a fazer disparates, apesar destas serem normais (ou relativamente haha) as restantes estavam longe de ser assim, e aqui fica uma como prova. :P  

E um outro assunto que não tem nada a ver (mas ao mesmo tempo tem) o vídeo que fizemos esta semana é um tutorial, a Sex Tutorial buahaha Fizemos uma espécie de paródia com o assunto, portanto esta longe de ser informativo, mas foi uma forma, leve e divertida, de expressarmos aquilo que sentimos em relação a alguns assuntos (que ainda me irritam quanto à sociedade haha), que estamos a pensar explicar num outro vídeo.

While I was doing this post was listening to Paramore, hence the title, it was the music, I am not angryanymore and I thought that matched the photos. 

It's funny how not only the melody seemed to fit but so did lyrics as well ... "I am not angry anymore, well, sometimes I am." Not that I was angry with someone, but maybe with society in general, and as the song says, I'm not angry anymore, well, sometimes I am haha

We took these pictures to put in our Portfolio, and we ended up taking a lot to of them doing funny poses, despite these being normal (kinda haha) the others looked far from this ones, and the last one is here as proof. :P

Well another issue that has nothing to do (but at the same time has) the video we did this week is a tutorial, an Sex Tutorial buahaha We made it as sort of parody with towards the subject, so it's far from informational, but it was a way, funny one, to express what we feel about certain issues (that still annoy me about the society haha), and we are thinking about explain it another video.

Á umas semanas atrás recebemos este vestido no correio, juntamente com uns sapatos zombie (yup yup, sapatos zombie) e ficamos mesmo entusiasmadas para algumas fotos com as peças. Infelizmente na altura não tínhamos tempo para fazer nada disso, e quando finalmente entramos de férias não conseguíamos pensar sequer em fazer fosse o que fosse. Ficamos em completa letargia durante pelo menos uma semana.

O vestido é ainda mais bonito ao vivo. Nas fotos não dá para perceber mas as alças são de veludo! Enquanto editava as imagens ouvia Bastille obcessivamente. Não consigo tirar as músicas deles da cabeça e acho que isso acabou por influenciar a forma como as fotos ficaram no final.

Esta semana eu e a Carla vamos aventurar-nos um bocado e experimentar fazer alguns vídeos (não necessariamente ligados com o que vêem aqui no blog).

A few weeks ago we got this AMAZING dress in the mail, along with some kick ass zombie shoes (yup yup, zombie shoes) and we got really excited about the idea of taking photos with them. Unfortunately the timing was terrible because we were so busy at the time and after that we went into a full on coma for about a week.

We finally got around to take these last week and I’ve been slowly editing them while listening to Bastille obcessively, which might have affected the way I was editing.

The dress is actually prettier in person. The straps are black velvet, and it’s very delicate and precious.

Anyway, this week Carla and I might venture into some video making (not necessarily about themes related to the blog). Would you like to watch us do, or talk about anything in particular? We are definitely open to dares and suggestions ;)

HOLY WATER CANNOT HELP YOU NOW

Sempre que começo a criar um post tenho imensas ideias e coisas que quero falar, mas assim que me sento para escrever fico sem nada para dizer, o que é estranho porque no dia-a-dia eu reclamo de tudo, é um debate constante sobre todos os problemas que vejo no mundo Ahaha Então pensei em deixar aqui um vídeo, de uma performer que eu gosto (por me identificar com os temas que ela normalmente aborda durante as suas performances) mas este vídeo são dicas para os que facilmente se distraem (que também da sempre jeito ahaha) …Miranda July J

Num outro tema, pintei de novo o cabelo, desta vez de ruivo ahaha Quando fui ao cabeleireiro para pintar de castanho pensei que talvez fosse melhor escurece-lo aos poucos, aproveitando para experimentar a cor que eu mais gosto. E como este vestido me faz lembrar a florence welch, os pedaços de tecido grosso em contraste com o tecido transparente, achei que seria uma boa combinação com o meu novo cabelo laranjinha.

Whenever I start to create a post have a lot of ideas and things I want to talk about, but as soon as I sit down to write I have nothing to say, which is weird because in the every day life I always in constant debate about all the problems I see in the world Ahaha So I thought I'd leave here a video, a performer I like because I identify myself with the themes she usually tackles during their performances, but this video is tips for those who are easily distracted (which comes always in hand ahaha) ... MirandaJuly J

On another topic, I painted my hair again, this time in red ahaha When I went to the hairdresser to paint Brown I thought it might be better to darken it gradually, taking the opportunity to experience the color I like best. And  because this dress reminds me of florence welch, pieces of thick fabric in contrast to the transparent fabric, I thought it would be a good combination with my new orange(ish) hair.

Before I go I to want to leave here an artist, it seems that everyone knew them but me ahaha but now that I found out I'm always listening J Macklemore& Ryan Lewis - Can not Hold us

                                    

     

MAKING OF

Hoje fomos finalmente tirar as fotos que andávamos a planear. A nossa primeira vítima foi a Cátia do blog The Black Effect, que gostámos mesmo muito de conhecer.

Adorei a colaboração, a Cátia é adorável como podem ver pelas fotos e trouxe uma coroa de flores mesmo bonita, que ela fez (e que sejamos sinceros, dava uma coça à nossa :P).

Mal posso esperar para editar as fotos! O sol estava demasiado alto quando fotografámos mas penso que mesmo assim nos safamos bem. Este local foi o primeiro de vários em que tirámos as fotografias. O Jardim Botânico do Porto, NUNCA desilude.

Today we finally got to take the photos we were planing on what seemed like FOREVER.

Our first victim was Catia from the Black Effect blog. We loved the collaboration. Catia is adorable, as you can see from the photos, and we really enjoyed getting to know her. She made this beautiful flower crown you can see in the photos.

I can’t wait to start editing them, so far they seem to have turned out AMAZING..

Dress-Westrags

Ontem andamos pelo Porto á procura de locais interessantes para umas sessões fotográficas temáticas que andamos a organizar. Se nos seguem no facebook, já tiveram um sneak peek do nosso local favorito.

Como é costume aproveitamos para tirar algumas fotos, e como o tempo finalmente melhorou decidi experimentar o meu novo vestido da Westrags. Adoro o modelo e as cores, fazem-me lembrar os anos 60.

Não podia estar mais contente por hoje ser sexta-feira, o que significa que a semana está finalmente a acabar. Esta semana estava a ser particularmente difícil com más notícias e muito trabalho á mistura.

Estamos agora a acabar o nosso curso, o que adiciona uma data de pressões e dúvidas relativamente ao que vamos fazer no futuro. É difícil não saber sequer por onde começar e ficamos a pensar nas razões porque estamos agora a trabalhar até á exaustão, se no fim não á lugar no mercado para nós.

Yesterday we went scouting some interesting places for a bunch of photoshots we want to make in the future. If you follow us on facebook, you might have seen one of our favourite spots.

As usual we decided to take some photos for the blog, and as the weather seemed lovely I decided to try on my new dress from Westrags. I love the fit and the colors, they remind me of the 60’s.

I’m so happy this week from hell is finally over, even though I have to work my ass of this weekend.
