SHE TURNS TO STONE

  

Finalmente tivemos um tempinho no fim-de-semana passado para tirar algumas fotos novas. Já estávamos fora de forma quase, de tanto tempo que passou desde a última vez. Manter o mesmo ritmo de actualizações que há uns anos atrás, aqui no blog seria impensável neste momento. Ambas estamos num trabalho das 9 as 6h e quando o dia chega ao fim queremos descontrair em vez de editar fotos, fazer promoção, responder a comentários. Não dá K.

Por isso decidimos começar a filtrar muito mais os nossos conteúdos e votamos em qualidade em oposição a quantidade. Vamos começar a fazer pelo menos 2 posts por mês e podem-nos seguir pelo facebook, que atualizamos com mais frequência!

Tem sido igualmente difícil manter-me actualizada ao que se tem passado aqui pela blogosfera, para ser sincera não me tem entusiasmado tanto como antigamente. Mais do mesmo, têm-me deixado pouco cativada. Algo que reparei que mudou é a qualidade de fotografia, as meninas andam aí com umas bombas bem poderosas, que tenho visto fotos magníficas de pormenores J.

Gostava de ver toda a gente de novo, num evento semelhante ao piquenique a que fomos há uns anos atrás no palácio, e por em conversa em dia. Bem, era uma boa idea...

Bem boa pascoa pessoal, aproveitem para comer muitos doces!

Finally we got around to take some new pictures last weekend . We were almost out of shape, so much time that has passed since the last time. Maintaining the same pace of updates that we had a few years ago , here on the blog would be unthinkable at this time . We’re both working a 9am to 6pm job and when the day comes to a close we want to relax instead of editing photos , doing promotion, respond to comments . It just won’t do K

So we decided to start filtering much more content and vote on quality as opposed to quantity. We’ll try doing at least 2 posts a month and we’ll be updating facebook a little more often.

It has also been difficult to keep updated on what 's been going on the blogosphere.

To be honest it hasn’t made me too much excited. It has been more of the same. Something that I noticed that has changed is the quality in the photography. The girls walk around with some pretty powerful bombs, I have seen pictures of magnificent details J.

Quando decidi começar a escrever pensei, eia tenho tanta coisa que gostava de dizer, tanto tempo passou desde a última vez que escrevi aqui. Mas como sempre quando começo a escrever sinto que nenhuns dos assuntos são realmente importantes ou interessantes. Podia falar do tempo, e como não para de chover, da falta de vontade de sair da cama de manha ao ouvir a chuva e o vento bater na janela, de como gostava de ser mais produtiva, fazer e aprender mais. Mas no final dou por mim a pensar, wow isso é extremamente triste Carla! E ninguém tem tempo para isso, nem vontade de te ouvir a reclamar!!

E então penso mais um bocadinho, e lembro-me das boas notícias, de como comprei uma máquina de costura, e estou a tentar aprender a costurar, de como comecei a fazer ilustração, de como a chuva e o frio são um bom pretexto para ficar junto à lareira com uma chávena de chá, e como tenho sempre a companhia das series (ou a falta delas, Why did you leave me coven whyy?) 

Por falar em series, agora que o American horror story Coven nos deixou, e me deixou triste por não haver mais awesome outfits, mais alguém vai sentir falta?

E sim foi assim que surgiu a inspiração para estas fotos, uma ligeira obsessão para com a serie, que para além de uma história interessante tinha uns outfits sempre impecáveis. (Como posso ser uma mistura da Zoe com a Misty? É possível por favor, hm?)

When I decided to start writing I thought, hei I have so much I would like to say, so much time has passed since the last time I wrote here. But as always when I start to write I feel that none of the issues are really important or interesting. I could talk about the weather, and how does not stop raining, the unwillingness to get out of bed in the morning because it's nice to hear the wind and rain hit the window, how I wanted to be more productive, make and learn more. But in the end I find myself thinking, wow this is extremely sad Carla! And nobody has the time or desire to hear you complaining!

And then I think a little bit more, and I remember the good news...like the fact that I bought a sewing machine and I am trying to learn to sew, how I started doing illustrations, how the rain and cold is a good excuse to stay by the fireplace with a cup of tea, and as always how I have the company of the shows (or lack of them, Why did you leave me whyy coven?)

Speaking of shows, now that the American horror story Coven left us, and made ​​me sad because there is no more awesome outfits, does someone else fell sad about this?

 And yes this is how we got the inspiration for these pictures, a slight obsession with the show, which in addition to an interesting story, always had perflectly awesome outfits. (How can I be a mixture of Zoe with Misty ? Is that possible? hm?)

O ano está quase a acabar e por isso queríamos agradecer a toda a gente que nos segue e acompanha as nossas “aventuras” e nos viu crescer.

2013 foi um óptimo ano para nós, fizemos projetos mesmo muito interessantes com outras bloggers, abrimos uma conta de youtube porque estávamos cansadas de levar tudo tão aserio, concluímos o nosso curso e desde então temos passado por uma grande processo de descoberta que nos tem levado a conhecer pessoas muito interessantes e experienciar coisas que nunca vamos esquecer.

Temos muitos projetos e ideias planeadas para o ano que vem, e espero que vocês continuem a acompanhar o nosso trabalho, e a receber o vosso apoio. Obrigada por todos os comentários de encorajamento, queremos que saibam que valorizamos CADA UM deles, mesmo que nem sempre vos agradeça diretamente.

The year is almost over and so we wanted to thank everyone who follows our "adventures" and has seens us grow through the years.

2013 was a great year for us, we did really interesting projects with other bloggers, we opened a youtube account because we were tired of taking everything so seriously, we graduated from college, and since then we have gone through a great discovery process that has led us to meet very interesting people and experiencing things that we will never forget.

We have many projects and plans for next year, and I hope you continue to follow our work and receive your support. Thanks for all the comments of encouragement, we want you to know that we value each of them.

Este fim-de-semana foi o meu aniversário e apesar de nunca ter pensado muito na minha idade, não me sinto de todo com 24 anos.  

Sinto que sou muito mais nova, e que as expectativas para uma pessoa tão velha são demasiadas tendo em comparação o que fiz até agora. Passei demasiados anos a estudar e poucos a viver a vida. Sinto que devia fazer as malas, apanhar um avião e só voltar quando tivesse vivido o suficiente desses 24 e quem sabe mais.

This weekend was my birthday and despite never thinking much about my own age, I don’t feel at all like I’m 24.

I feel l like I am much younger, and that the expectations for a person that old are much more compared with what I've done so far. I spent too many years studying, instead of living life. I feel I ought to pack my bags, get on a plane and come back only when I have lived enough of those 24 and maybe more.
